Housekeeping –
Provide as many avenues as possible to connect with applicants who already are fans of your brand.
•Add a job button on the company locations page
•Review drop off rate and difficulty in online app and assessment process – can you simplify?
•Host open interviews – all the time
•Review and increase in-store signage
•Promote increased referral bonuses – too good to pass up.
•Line and Server – what do applicants want from these jobs and - what of these – do you offer?
•Explore new job titles that funnel into jobs that require little to no qualifications - host, busser, dishwasher– try jobs like Clerk, Cashier, Counter Server
Traditional approach –
get your jobs on a large job board
Indeed - you can set up free ads through their "Hosted"platform. Just set up an online employer account. Sponsored ads give you more exposure - Use Easy Apply or One-Click apply so it is easy for the applicant
Snagajob - 70% of their traffic comes from hospitality. They are CPC based now and yopu have more control over the spend
Craigslist - post your ads with pay rates listed - open interview times and use the REPLY feature that allows applicants to email you directly. Better than that - use a text number...Craigslist set up will mask the #.
Try Upward.net - they distribute jobs to Zip and Monster. They are also CPC based.

Immediately create and distribute a release about Hiring. News outlets are looking for good news and the big dogs are the only ones taking advantage of this. How many times have you seen an article about Amazon Hiring? That is HR PR
